—From page 23 of The General Ordinances of the Incorporated Village of Norwood, Hamilton County, Ohio - In Force October 1, 1899. It was published by Order of Council "to include ordinances of general nature up to and including the meeting of September 18, 1899." The book was published under the direction of William R. Collins, Solicitor of Norwood, and published by W. H. Anderson & Co., Law Book Publishers, Cincinnati.

Note
The property was bounded on the north by Wayland Avenue and directly toward the west, on the west by J. T. Wright's second subdivision (Station Avenue and later renamed Pacific Avenue) and the east side of the C., L. & N. R. R., on the south by the north side of the C., P. & V. R. R. (later named the N. & W. R. R.), on the east by Montgomery Road and Ivanhoe Avenue. The streets involved are: Ivanhoe Avenue, Wayland Avenue, Cleneay Avenue (Northside Avenue, at the time), and Montgomery Road. Most of this property was later developed into industrial use. A part of it is now Norwood Plaza.
One source gives the date as August 15, 1898, for Ordinance No. 989 and August 21, 1899, for Ordinance No. 1077. These annexation ordinances may have been related.
