NORWOOD ANNEXATION NO. 2, 1891 |
Norwood's second annexation was in 1891. Village Ordinance No. 273 accepted the application for annexation of a territory as described below made by John G. McGhee. The Ordinance was passed by Council on October 5, 1891. The signatures on the Ordinance were Aaron McNeill, Mayor, and W. E. Wichgar, Clerk. |
"Description of Property Accepted for Annexation by Ordinance No. 273 —From page 20 of The General Ordinances of the Incorporated Village of Norwood, Hamilton County, Ohio - In Force October 1, 1899. It was published by Order of Council "to include ordinances of general nature up to and including the meeting of September 18, 1899." The book was published under the direction of William R. Collins, Solicitor of Norwood, and published by W. H. Anderson & Co., Law Book Publishers, Cincinnati. |

This land was within the Elsmere Subdivision. Besuden mentioned here was either Besuden's property line or Besuden Avenue; this needs to be investigated to determine which.
