History of Kaesemeyer Dairy:
- Started in 1901 with retail outlet on Reading Road, Bond Hill
- In 1906 moved to Langdon Farm Road
- In 1911 moved to Norwood at the corner of Carthage Avenue and
Dale Road
- In December 1956 the route operations was sold to French-Bauer
The Carthage Avenue retail daity outlet was closed, but the
building was still owned by the Kaesemeyer family. The 258 acre
dairy farm in Warren County that had supplied the operations was
kept to sell dairy products to other retailers. The last owners
were Louis, Jr., Harry and Walter Kaesemeyer and two sisters Mrs.
Hilda Hahn and Mrs. Alma Meinking.
