growing uniform rental part of the business. In 1968, Satellite Corporation was formed by Dick Farmer, grandson
of Richard and Amelia, to create a central organization for the administration of satellite uniform plants in
every major American city. In 1973, with the acquisition of Acme Uniform & Linen by Satellite, the business name
was changed from Satellite Corp. to its current name, Cintas Corp. It now provides several services to businesses.
