William Campbell Baker

William Baker was born July 1835 in Pennsylvania. His father was born in that state, also, but his mother was born in Virginia. His occupation was recorded as “capitalist.” He owned his home on Williams Avenue (1906 Williams and northeast corner of Williams and Ivanhoe Avenues). He had been married to his wife Ellen R. for 28 years. She was born November 1844 in Ohio. Her father was born in Ohio, but her mother was born in Pennsylvania. She had three children, but only two survived to 1900. These two were living at home: Erma (sic – Irma?) W. was born December 1876 and Nola P. was born June 1877. Both were born in Ohio and were single.

William C. Baker was born ca. 1832, in Belleville, Washington County, Pennsylvania, and died at age 72, April 21, 1904, in Norwood, Ohio. He was married and the son of George and Nancy Baker.

Ellen R. Baker was born November 30, 1842, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and died July 12, 1911, at her residence, 1906 Williams Avenue, Norwood, Ohio. She was a widow and the daughter-in-law of George Baker. Her parents were Regin (sic - Rezin) and Rachel Phillips Williams.
