Man loses his horse and buggy while visiting sister on Williams avenue.

A clipping from the The Norwood Enterprise newspaper,
Thursday, January 12, 1899:

WAS NOT STOLEN.

Mr. H. Riemenschneider drove out to our village last Sunday afternoon to pay a visit to his sister, who lives on Williams avenue. Arriving at the house he hitched his horse to a post. After remaining inside about an hour he prepared to leave but found his horse and buggy were gone. After a search around Marshal Eberhard was notified. Mr. Riemenschneider insisting that his horse had been stolen, as he had tied him tightly. A short time after the Marshal found the horse and vehicle on Carter and Hopkins, where he had been tied and was in charge of Mr. Clem Ahlers, who had found him walking leisurely down Carter street.
