A clipping from the The Cincinnati Enquirer newspaper, April 24, 1904: |
"Chief Eberhard was hurriedly summonded to the residence of A. G. Wilson, 2232 Jefferson avenue, Friday night to arrest a man who had climbed to the top of a veranda and had tried to force open a second-story window. When he arrived he found that a servant girl had charged on the "porch climber" with a broom as he was tampering with the window and he had jumped to the ground and disappeared."
