  • "Norwood Kiwanis 1st Annual Turkey Roast, November 20, 1982" - The person roasted was Cincinnati Mayor David S. Mann*, with roasters Jerry Springer, Simon Leis*, Jim Scott*, Jake Held*, Brian Hicks and Bill (Red) Ash*. The Master of Ceremonies was Nick Clooney* and entertainment was provided by Rob Reider*. The persons with * after their names autographed this booklet.
  • "Community Development Block Grant Program, Third Annual Report," U. S. Dept. of Housing and Urban development, 1978
  • "Recovering The Past - A Handbook of Community Recycling Programs, 1890-1945." The envelope containing this book was addressed to Jerome L. Klems, and appeared to be re-addressed to Sophie Prevy, the original Historical Registrar of the City of Norwood.
  • "Norwood Branch Library, 1907-1982." A 75th anniversary pamphlet with two flyers describing program information for the 12-2pm open house, which included the Norwood Historical Society's exhibit and presentation.
  • "1960 History and Directory - Ole' Montgomery" . This booklet mentions that Montgomery Road was in existence by at least 1824, since Charles Dickens tells of traveling on the road from Cincinnati through Montgomery towards Columbus. Sometime before 1850, the organization operating the road was reorganized under the name "The Cincinnati, Montgomery, Hopkinsville, Roachester and Clarksville Macadamized Turnpike Company."
  • Complete Reports on Municipally Owned Water & Light Plants in the State of Ohio, 1914. This booklet includes information on the Norwood Water and Electric Works.
  • Norwood High School Basketball program, 1969-1970 . A 20-page booklet, approx. 8" x 10˝".
  • This car owners manual was titled "Instructions for the Operation and Care of CHEVROLET Motor Cars, INTERNATIONAL SERIES AC, January 1, 1929, First Edition."
  • "PASSING SHOW," given by Leland M. Barnett Post, No. 123 American Legion, at the Norwood High School Auditorium, Friday Evening, April 8, 1921, and Saturday Evening, April 9, 1921. This 20 page booklet (including covers) was copyright 1910 by The U. S. Lithograph Company. It contains many advertisements for Norwood businessess.
  • "City of Norwood, Ohio : 1809-1957." This copy is missing the cover and the first two and last two pages.
  • "Norwood, Her Homes and Her People, 1894, Mulford & Betty". Two photocopied, "perfect-bound" copies of the historical book.
  • "Notebook with City of Norwood, Ohio, Zoning Ordinance, City Planning Commission, Adopted by Council, Ordinance No. 71, 1974." This 92 page book also included the actual signature page. Also, with it were letters concerning "Wood Structural Design Data," sent to Henry B. Burwinkel, Bldg. Inspector, 1937.

  • Hamilton County Auditor's Plat Book 523 - copy of pages 31-43 of the January 1935 edition of this large volume, showing the City of Norwood.
  • [A2] The Cincinnati Bickford Tool Co., 1949 - a 23-3/4"x17-7/8" flyer for the 75th anniversary of an Oakley company. Note: In 1908, The Cincinnati Machine Tool Co. and The Bickford Drill and Tool Co. merged, moving to a new building in Oakley.
  • J. Chas. McCullough Seed Company pocket notebook -
    The insides and outsides of the cover contained printed advertisements. Inside were several grid-lined sheets stapled to the cover. It was probably used as a promotional item.
  • Booklet - 39 pages + cover; "General Pershing's Story of The American Army in France" with the signature of Florence J. Palmer on the front cover. Price 25@cents;, 1919.
  • [A6] Specification Book for The Strobridge Lithographic Co. building at 4530 Montgomery Pike; Tietig & Lee, Architects.
  • [A7] "Album of Remembrance" - a memory book, possibly created by Mrs. Edward Mills
    The 1st page was a handwritten account of the Woman's Club House luncheon on Sept. 27, 1928. Also, in the book were a letter of congratulation for Mrs. Mills' 94th birthday and many news clippings.
