This image was created from a negative in the possession of the City of Norwood. The photograph was taken in April 1970 from a viewpoint at the excavation level near Montgomery Road, looking eastward. Norwood Avenue on the left (north) and Harris Avenue on the right (south) paralleled the highway. Several landmarks can be seen.
