A clipping from the The Cincinnati Enquirer newspaper, Sunday, April 24, 1904: |
"The Norwood Athletic Club held its annual election Friday night. There was a good turn-out of the membership and considerable enthusiasm prevailed over the organization's bright prospects for the coming year. The first matter taken up was the proposition to amend the constitution so as to permit of the reduction of the Board of Governors from twelve members to six. The amendment carried without a dissenting vote. The election that followed resulted in Dr. J. C. Cadwallader and Dr. J. S. Thompkins being chosen Governors for the three-year terms, George Stacey and Al Osterman for the two-year terms and D. W. O'Neill and Werner G. Betty for the one-year terms. The Board of Governors will reorganize in a few days and the "tip" is out that Dr. Cadwallader will be elected President; Mr. Stacey, Secretary and Dr. Thompkins, Treasurer."
