This image was of Montgomery Road at Elm was taken in 1905. Some things that can be seen in this photograph are the Fire Wagon in the center, a street car behind it and, in the background, the old Central School building. Also, on the far left, above the couple walking towards the camera, is a street sign—"ELM AVE." 1905 was the year that Norwood changed its Fire Department from a volunteer to a professional organization, which may have been the reason for this photograph.
